The similarities in countenance are obvious, but it’s unfair to call Westbrook, Durant’s Bodie. Bodie was one of my favorite characters, but he was a soldier in Avon’s crew. Westbrook might look like Bodie, but he’s more Stringer. In fact, I think a guy already wrote about this.

SPOILER ALERT!
If it’s Avon and Stringer, how long until Durant has Westbrook whacked? He’s already survived more seasons than Russell “Stringer” Bell.

Omg, that’s awesome. I knew there was a reason I liked Russell westbrook so much.

“One of the arguments The Wire advanced is that some areas of the inner city – among them the section of East Baltimore where Pearson grew up – represent a kind of evolutionary break from the rest of the country, a place where the deprivation is so deep that it challenges our conception of what America is. There are social scientists who chart the rules and adaptations of this culture, who know its boundaries so well they can draw them on a map. One social epidemiologist who has studied East Baltimore calls this separate world the Cyst, because it can seem so perfectly walled off from the rest of society. ”
